Job Details:
Summary of Duties and Essential Job Functions
• Participates in diagnosis, treatment, and proper management of patients
• Responsible for handing medical emergencies
• Liaising with other cadres in the delivery of quality healthcare to patients
• Reviewing and evaluating patients undergoing treatment
• Promoting health practices in the community throughout-reach activities
• Participating in research activities and health data collection, among others.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences
• Must have attained Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Must hold a valid certificate of registration and an UpToDate practicing license from Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council, UMDPC
• At least one year of post internship work experience in a busy clinical setting.
• Should be well acquainted with patients care with respect to the current national and international guidelines.
• Should be able to Fluently communicate in English and Luo languages, Kiswahili is an added advantage.
