Reporting To Principal Medical Officer
Job Purpose Provide quick, efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to the patients and to assist the dispensary Manager in ensuring effective financial control of the dispensary.
Key, Duties and Responsibilities
1. Take in and hand out prescriptions
2. Dispensing prescriptions
3. Generate stock lists and labels using dispensary and store computer systems
4. Maintain a reasonable dispensary stock level
5. Order items for use within the dispensary
6. Receive, load and unload drugs
7. Answer queries on the supply and availability of medicines.
Required Qualifications
• Diploma in Pharmacy;
• Registration with a professional body
Experience : Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.

ii. Concern for quality and standards;
iii. Communication skills;
iv. Ethics and integrity;
v. Self-control and stress management; and
vi. Time management.
Tenure of Appointment 4-year Contract
