Background
Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) is Uganda's apex body for the private sector. It is made up of over 309 business associations, corporate bodies and the major public sector agencies that support private sector growth. Since its founding in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with Government on behalf of the private sector. PSFU aims to strengthen private sector capacity for effective policy advocacy and market competitiveness.
PSFU intends to recruit the serious of qualified individuals with suitable credentials and experience for the following positions.
Job Brief 1. Events and Marketing Officer 2. Manager Outreach
Some Duties and Responsibilities for Events and Marketing Officer
a) Spearhead PSFU membership's event and marketing strategy, including but not limited to: identifying key events, membership training for attendees, maintain pre- and post-event communication, event attendance, business development services, stakeholder engagement activities in line with the PSFU strategy.
b) Work with PSFU chief membership officer and head of communications and PR to organize staff, membership events and business development services.
c) Negotiate and execute contracts for large- and small scale events
d) Design through the line activities, implement marketing and activity influenced pipeline, onsite activations and support of the members.
