Job Purpose
Responsible for efficient receiving, transporting and loading of material. Responsible for complying with all SHEQ policies and regulations.
Educational Qualifications
• O-Level Certificate.
• Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the Waste and or Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage.
• Multiskilled operator with Valid operator’s permit Class F
• Other requirements
• Good spatial awareness.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to operate and control equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety
• Key Job Responsibilities
• Conduct general mechanical checks on the forklift daily
• Ensure forklift is filled with appropriate fuel
• Transport material to and from various areas
• Proactively keeping a high standard of housekeeping
• Assist with packing and stacking of products
• Keeping all company property in good working order
• Report all defects, breakdowns, accidents or incidents to Supervisor.
• Comply with operational and legal requirements concerning Health and Safety.
• Report all customer queries/complaints to Supervisor
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as requested by supervisor or team leader
• Weigh products when required to do so
• Be able to work overtime or abnormal hours as and when required
