Job Title: Extra Heavy Truck Driver

Job Purpose
• Responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operation of a Truck
• Responsible for the collect ,transportation and delivery of goods and materials including hazardous and non hazardous waste .
• Educational Qualifications
• O-Level Certificate
• Driving licence D1, D1E
• Experience Requirements
• 3 - 5 years of driving experience
• Driving experience in the Oil and Gas sector will be an advantage.
• Knowledge
• Driving techniques
• Good communication in English
• Accurate completion of all paperwork
• Customer service orientation
• Ability communicate English.
• Key Job Responsibilities
• Vehicle Daily pre-start, start-up and Equipment inspection
• Check vehicle daily for any damages and report
• Check all liquid levels – coolant, oils, water etc and fill or/and report
• Check all electrical and alarm functions
• Complete and sign off the daily checklist
• Check and test operation of auto door
• Complete equipment checklist
• Check and correct tyre pressure
• Check and correct diesel level Communicate with clients/customers
• Meet with customer/client on arrival
• Address all customer/client needs/concerns
• Report back any needs/concerns as necessary
• Ensure the area of operation is cleaned-up before departure
• Safe Transportation and off-loading
• Ensure safe transportation
• Ensure safe off-loading registration of load on sites
• Cleaning maintenance of truck and equipment
• Ensure cleaning of truck and equipment daily
• Ensure maintenance related reporting daily
• Documentation
• Complete daily journey management plans
• Company policies and procedures
• Ensure that all work is carried out in line with company policies and procedures
• (Safety, Health, Quality, Environmental and operational)
