Job Details:
Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) is the leading National Humanitarian Organization in Uganda and a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (IFRC). Uganda Red Cross implements lifesaving services across the country and would wish to invite applicants that meet job requirements for the vacant positions in our organisation. Location: URCS Headquarters with at least 30% field travel
Duration: One (1) Year with Possibility of renewal
Job Purpose:
The Manager, Climate Action and Environment will ensure that URCS achieves its mandate, especially under Key Focus Area 4 of its strategic plan “To strengthen Communities’ Resilience and Wellbeing “under key results strategy 4.1. “To strengthen institutional capacity to predict, prepare for and respond to disasters and crisis in an efficient, innovative and comprehensive disaster risk management and safe access framework’’ to establish a Climate and Environment Unit.
