Main Duties and Responsibilities
• SAP and other Finance and Cost Control system tools subject expert, mentor and coach less experienced Cost Controller(s) in cost engineering practices, tools, and techniques and methods
• Support Project in improving the methods in conjunction with SAP and new tools, in order to improve the efficiency of the cost control function and to increase the level of competence of cost control teams.
• Assures and promotes good use of Cost Control tools in compliance with TotalEnergies EP HQ métiers recommendations,
• Ensures the good level of the tool appropriation and identify needs in training,
• Assists data transfer between SAP and various interface applications, developing relevant reports to assist with management decision-making.
• Optimising the management of all processes around SAP within the cost control function
• Assist in the provision of ad hoc services such as preparation of supporting documentation for insurance claim dossiers, cost recovery and audits.
Qualifications & Experience
• BSc. or equivalent in accounting, finance, IT or business-related courses.
• 10-15 years of experience in the different areas of the Cost Control business (preferably with a significant proportion spent at TotalEnergies Headquarters and/or in subsidiaries), but also in the technical areas of the EP (Drilling, Operations, Logistics, Projects etc)
• Good experience in SAP and BW is highly recommended, Keen sense of service to clients, Communication and team leadership in non-hierarchical set up, Management of projects, establishing and implementing cost control procedures, General knowledge of the company and the main ‘métier’ processes using SAP systems, Budget management
