Future projects will focus on long-term approaches for building resilience to climate change. In addition, KfW is working on improving urban water supply, sanitation services and the protection of Lake Victoria, following the approach of the Integrated Water Resources Management, considering needs of different stakeholders/sectors and ensuring sustainable operation of water infrastructure.
