Job Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Uganda team. He/she will be responsible for managing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company’s products, services, campaigns, or events that align with consumer behavior patterns and corporate goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Execute events as outlined in the Marketing Plan i.e. create a database of people to be invited, organize with suppliers, undertake events and carry out a report.
• Work with designers for company brochures & marketing materials.
• Work with sales for sales drives as outlined in the Marketing Plan.
• Content generation for social media in Liaison with the Head of Marketing & Communications.
• Gathering and analyzing crime data reported from various media platforms in Uganda.
• Draft press releases/ Blog posts/website copies as and when required.
• Media monitoring. Scan newspapers, television, radio, and the internet for information useful to the company and advise accordingly.
• Preparing timely crime reports to be shared with the Securex clients on a weekly basis.
• Creating and conducting visual presentations of crime trends and projections to help clients keep safe.
• Identifying criminal trends and advising the management team on possible sales opportunities.
• Keeping up-to-date with marketing activities and innovations.
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
• Strong team-working and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Knowledge in marketing tools.
• Must be a Ugandan Citizen.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organization and planning skills.
• A sound understanding of local and regional security and recent history.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree/ training in the relevant field.
