Reports To: University Secretary
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• To administer prescribed medicine
• To provide advice to stakeholders on how to manage the treatment
• To keep records of all the treatment and medicine dispensed
• To safely dispose of clinical waste
• To draft budget for the university clinic
• To make requisition for drug and other facilities
• To advise on treatment obtainable from elsewhere outside the university
• To participate in sensitizing university community on public health issues
• To counsel and provide information to staff and students
• To assist staff and students with special health needs to access services.
Person Specifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Certificate in Nursing
• Two years working experience
• Counseling skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills
