Part-time Lecturer-Medical Records and Health Informatics
Description
Position holder will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students of Medical Records and Health Informatics to fully develop skills and fulfil their academic potential. The job holder will work as part of the team to ensure that the curriculum, as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is delivered at the set standards and that assessment is conducted in line with the Uganda National Council for Higher Education or Allied Health Professionals Examinations body guidelines and procedures. The expected result is well nurtured students that demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and academic excellence
Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in Records and Archives Plus a post graduate diploma in Medical Education or Diploma in Education or Degree in Education. A Master’s Degree in Records and Archives or Informational Technology or Statistics or Masters of Science in Information Science will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience as a Lecturer in Recognized Institution of Higher Learning or 3 years’ experience in a busy Hospital or Public Health setting with Competencies and experience in Health Informatics, Quality Assurance, Archives and Medical records management and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
