QUANTITY SURVEYOR (1)
POSITION PURPOSE
The Quantity Surveyor will provide technical support in the implementation of infrastructure projects to undertake a full range of pre and post contract quantity surveying services including the development, implementation and monitoring of the building construction and maintenance framework agreements activities for Cotton On Foundation infrastructure projects in Uganda
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND
• At least 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying practice or related management in the construction industry in a busy public or private organization.
• Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or its equivalent from a recognized university/ Institution.
• Excellent written English and computer skills
OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ATTRIBUTES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES
• Good interpersonal skills, high level of integrity and good moral conduct
• Self-directed and capable of working with minimum supervision
• Ability to work within tight deadlines for proposal development / reporting
• Strong commitment to Cotton On Foundation's cause and values
• An open personality and acceptance of all races, creeds and cultures
• Willingness to unlearn and learn from other team members
