Faculty of Health Sciences
Department of Nursing and Midwifery
Position: Lecturer - Nursing (1 Position)
Lecturer -Midwifery (1 Position)
Duty Station: UMU Main Campus Nkozi
Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences
Academic Qualifications and Experience
• The candidates should be in possession of a relevant Master’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery with a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education.
• Should have at least 3 years working experience post qualification as a Tutor from a recognized Institution, and should be registered with the professional body, (Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council) with valid practicing License.
• She/he should have a minimum teaching experience of 3 years at Assistant Lecturer or Lecturer level in a recognized University or in a related teaching activity in a recognized institution.
• She/he should have a satisfactory record of teaching, research, publication and service to the academic and wider community.
