Saferworld is an Independent International Non-Governmental Organisation that works to prevent violent conflict and build safer lives. Our main focus has been on supporting civil society involvement in conflict prevention and security provision, conflict and gender-sensitive approaches to development, and advocating stronger national and regional controls on small arms and light weapons.
Saferworld is seeking to recruit dynamic, qualified and professional persons with high level of integrity to fill the positions below:
Position: Finance Officer
Reporting: Finance & Operations Manager
Duty Station: Kampala
Main Job Purpose:
• Ensure smooth and efficient management of the financial systems.
• Maintain and operate a strong financial control environment in Saferworld, including maintaining comprehensive and accurate financial records and other bookkeeping and banking tasks
Position: Regional Peace Building Coordinator
Reporting: Team Leader
Duty Station: Hoima Regional Field Office
Main Job Purpose:
• Support the effective delivery of the project and take responsibility for the day-to-day implementation, documentation, partner support supervision and technical guidance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships in support of Saferworld's work in Uganda
