Job title: Civil / Structural / Architectural Inspector
Overview
• Supervise and lead inspectors for Civil, Structural and Architectural Quality Control activities to determine conformity to client and in line with McDermott procedures and ensure and that all jobs are carried out as per the Company's operating standards.
• Identify non-conformities and take appropriate action to control / prevent any occurrence as per the Company's operating standards.
• Perform Quality audits as applicable to verify compliance with project specifications and procedures. Interface with Construction, Field Engineering, Subcontractors, Certifying Authority and Client as required. Manage Civil, Structural and Architectural QC resources, planning and execution of related Civil QC activities.
• Successful candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience and recognized expertise in large international onshore/offshore oil and gas projects with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
Required degree and qualifications:
• College/university graduate and/or higher education
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in Civil Engineering/
• Construction and QA/QC function/inspections.
• Knowledge of site quality control surveillance schemes.
• Familiarity with construction standards and code of practices
• Experience in coordination of third party authorities and associated regulatory requirements.
• Preferred audit experience to ISO9001:2015 and/or construction inspection qualifications.
• Proficient computer skills - MS Office Suite.
