Accounts Assistant
Qualifications and Experience:
The applicable candidate must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
• Evidence that ACCA or CIMA studies are underway
• At least two years’ work experience as an Accounts Assistant
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
• Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with SAP
• High level of accuracy; a mature and practicing Christian who upholds the University’s Core values and Instruments of Identity
Key Competencies & Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support to Accountants
• Clerical tasks such as recording, data entry, filing
• Support with business accounting activities
• Handling emails and inquiries
• Processing and recording transactions
• Basic book keeping
• Analyzing and ensuring accuracy of finance requests and records
• Any other official duties that may assign from time to time
